Spend Analytics

Spend Analytics is the interactive breakdown for the date range in the top bar: totals, the trend, and lists by service, region, and scope.

How to use it

1. Read total spend at the top. When AWS credits exist, the total is net of credits unless you have filtered to a service or region.
2. Click a service, region, or scope to filter the trend and the other panels. Click the row again, or Clear, to reset that filter.
3. Open a place (cloud / account) to see scopes that have spend, then a scope to list resources. Use the breadcrumb or jump search. One click drills in.
4. Drag the spend trend to set a custom date range. A window of three days or less zooms the trend to hours (UTC). Use Day / Hour on the chart to switch. Presets in the top bar restore a standard window.
5. Search by resource name and page through long lists.

AWS credits

• As billed keeps credits off the region list.
• Apply to regions spreads credits across AWS regions by usage share. That split is an estimate, not the invoice.
