Opportunities¶
Opportunities (the Optimizations page) lists savings leads from utilization, usage, and inventory: idle or underused resources, unattached volumes, rightsizing, and related performance alerts.
Koltto does not apply the change in your cloud. You review here, then act in AWS or OCI.
How to use it¶
- Read estimated monthly and annual savings in the summary cards. The Identified vs applied chart is savings found vs marked Resolved in the selected period — drag it to narrow dates; header period chips restore a standard window.
- Filter by pipeline stage, action, service type, cloud, or Database (OCI databases). Click a chip again to clear. Click a service / action / status cell in the matrix to filter the list.
- Search by name. Open a scope, then a resource, for detail: cost after vs now, confidence, status history, and a link into Spend Analytics.
- Set status from the row or the detail pane. Resolved is the only done status (there is no separate “applied”). You can update several rows at once.
Status¶

| Open | Still in the active queue. |
| Resolved | You made the change (comment required). |
| Silenced | Snooze 30 days, then it can reopen (comment required). |
| Dismissed | You will not pursue it (comment required). |
Silenced and dismissed leave the active queue and optimization emails.
Confidence¶
Lower confidence usually means thinner metrics history or a noisier signal. Unattached volumes are high confidence because they use attachment state, not just I/O. Treat noisy utilization leads as investigation, not an automatic terminate.
Confirm utilization on Inventory before you change a resource.
What you will not see yet¶
- AWS RDS database recommendations (OCI databases only for the Database filter).
- A project planner for implementing the list (Coming soon in the sidebar).
