What is KÖLTTÖ

KÖLTTÖ is a read-only FinOps portal for AWS and Oracle Cloud. It pulls billing files (AWS Cost and Usage Report, OCI cost reports), inventory, and utilization, then shows spend, estimated savings leads, and resource changes in one place.

You do not configure dashboards. You connect a cloud with read-only credentials, wait for a refresh, and use the sidebar.

What it is for

  • See what you spend across connected clouds, for a date range you pick.
  • Investigate spend spikes — a day that broke its typical weekday or month-end pattern — on Anomalies.
  • Find waste — idle or oversized resources, unattached volumes, rightsizing leads — on Opportunities (dollar amounts are estimates, not realized bill savings).
  • Keep a catalog of what is running on Inventory, including utilization for the selected period.
  • Notice inventory change — new resources, or attribute / tag / state diffs — on Inventory Changes.
  • Set budgets and get email when spend spikes, a budget threshold hits, or there are new recommendations.
  • Hand finance a CSV from Reports.

What it is not

  • It does not change anything in your cloud. Recommendations stay in Koltto until you act in AWS or OCI.
  • It does not replace your invoice. Totals should be close to the bill; credits and timing can still differ.
  • Google Cloud and Azure are not connectable yet. Azure is next on the roadmap.
  • Items marked Coming soon in the sidebar (Forecaster, AI analyzer / AI bot, Planner, Allocations, Invoices) are not available.

How the pieces fit

Cloud accounts → Refresh data → Overview / Spend Analytics / Anomalies
                              ↘ Inventory → Opportunities / Inventory Changes

Credentials live on Cloud accounts. Every other page reads the data those accounts have refreshed — you do not pick a connection to “view as.”

If a page is empty, refresh from Account → Refresh data. Do not add a second set of keys to “switch view.”
